Creating an Ecological Charter for the Kinship EcoLab
A free charter-making workshop inspired by the wonderful Joanna Macy. In KinShip participants will gather as a Council of All Beings to create an Ecological Charter for the Kinship EcoLab. We will gather and try, as best we can, to step outside a human-only viewpoint and speak on behalf of other beings that are part of the park. This could be an animal, a plant, water, soil, or another element of the ecosystem. The intention is not to be perfect, but to expand our perspective and to consider how human behaviour affects others who share this space.
A charter is a shared expression of values and intentions. It is a way of saying how we would like this place to be treated and experienced, and how we might relate to each other and to the park itself.
